This video on YouTube titled Awesome High Five Windmill is bewitching.  The participants are anonymous, there's a truck idling somewhere nearby and then a midwestern-sounding woman warns the participants not to hurt each other.  And all the while these two people are doing something that could not possibly hurt one another.  Then they collapse laughing. It's sweet.  It makes no sense.  What's the “Go” at the start, like it's a competitive sport?   It was uploaded two years ago — long before the word “awesome” become hideously overused — and it has had only 500 views.  Most of them, I assume, from people curious about windmill high fives after watching Liz Lemon fume over them in the recent 30 Rock Khonani episode . In short, this oddness floating out in cyberspace gives me hope for the human race

On April 21, Yancy Terrell Cochran, pictured, tried to bail out his friend, who was in jail for unpaid parking tickets.  No crime in that. But according to cops, Cochran paid the Scott County Iowa Courthouse clerk using 300 bucks of counterfeit $50 bills . The report says Cochran, 35, originally claimed he got the fakes from a check-cashing place, but later admitted making them at home.
