While it has been debatable about exactly how many members of Congress are actually straight men , this clip of the humor displayed by Solicitor General and Supreme Court Nominee Elena Kagan during her confirmation hearings shows at the very least that Republican senators Orrin Hatch and Lindsay Graham are admirable straight men, at least from a comedy perspective. Senator Arlen Specter, on the other hand? Not so funny.

Nelson Grizales, pictured, got pissed off that his wife of 31 years crushed and then tossed his Viagra in their yard on Monday, according to police in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Grizales, 68, allegedly slapped and pushed his wife of 31 years after he requested his erectile dysfunction drugs from her and she “fed them to the plants.” He was arrested, charged with battery and bail was set at $10,000

Lee Christie of England, pictured, learned the hard way that the house he was robbing belonged to a former Polish wrestling champion. Adam Kalinowski told police he “snapped” when he came home to find his front door broken down and Christie in his house, allegedly stealing his son’s laptop computer. ”He looked at me, said 'Oh s***' and pushed me on to the wall so I gave him a kick in the stomach and he slowed down.” Kalinowski held Christie in a headlock while the burglar sobbed and begged for mercy until police arrived

People get arrested for doing a lot of dumb things, especially in Florida, but filching metal pipe off a fire hydrant in the middle of the street has to at least make the top three. And that’s what, officers say, Adrian Buck Sconiers and Randall Eugune Key, pictured top to bottom, were doing when they were arrested in DeFuniak Springs. According to the police report, the men admitted they intended to sell the parts as scrap metal.
